Bruno Wolhfarth, who invented and patented a round-shaped sealless plate filter, founded Wolhfarth in 1960. Soon after followed an electrical stainless steel pump with a flexible elastomer impeller, and later on pumps for sanitary and hazardous applications. Wolhfarth pumps are today widely used in the food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and chemical industry thanks to their durability, hygiene, and easy maintenance. For ease of use, all Wolhfarth pumps are available with trolleys, including an onboard electrical system, reverse gear, and emergency button.
